I AM HAVEING A ELECTRICAL ISSUE WITH MY FAN. IT CONTINUES TO RUN AFTER I SHUT THE CAR OFF (IT DOESN'T QUIT TILL THE BATERY DIES). I CHANGED THE RELAY AND THAT FIXED IT AT FIRST BUT IT IS STILL DOING THE SAME **** EVEN AFTER I REPLACED THE RELAY 3 TIMES.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT COULD BE CAUSEING THIS??

Then wether they are controlled by power or ground they are either shorted to a ground somewhere or shorted to a power somewhere.
Most likely they are shorted to ground. I can look at some wiring diagrams when I get to school tomorrow.

To check it just put an ohm meter across it. Its a thermistor, which is a resistor that varies resistance by temp. So check resistance on it cold and then start the car, let it run and then check resistance again.

Im guessing you didnt build your car? Either way it doesnt matter.
The coolant temp sending unit is on the driver side head towards the front of the head.
Just relax for a bit until i can get you those digrams.
