Default 375ci 6.0l.. thoughts??

hey guys im building a 6.0 for my car and got a set of forged lightweight 6.125 I-beam rods and a set of forged Mahle 4.060 bore pistons with 1cc valve reliefs, also have a ms4 cam, stg 2.5 PRC 5.3l heads, compression should be 11.75:1 or so with the head and pistons combo.

also other supporting mods are UDP, the new version LPP headers (which strangely came with SS Autochrome laser etched in the primary lol) 4.10 gear, 150 shot wet, i have an ls6 intake but looking for something else, was thinking about the victor jr, but after reading i dont know if that would be the best choice. double rolling adj timing chain, and comp push rods, prolly forgetting something but thats the main stuff

also goin to be getting a set of MLS GM head gaskets and arp bolts, the pistons weight is (im guessing without the pin) 446g and the rods are 560g and im runnin the 6.0 crank.. shooting for close for 500rwhp and mid-high 6's in an 1/8th. think ill be anywhere close?? also im not a new member.. just went undercover lol

Why not the vic jr? It would go hard with that no2 mainly if you have a plate. The build sounds good dont forget a good fuel system.

With that be of an overbore, won't this essentially become an LS3? I saw a cam only + 3.90 geared 6-speed manual LS3 C6 Corvette on youtube run in the 10.80s @ 128ish mph. Damn that's smokin' fast!!!

yeah i guess it would be a 6.2l its 375ci, im doin that much overbore because for one i found one hell of a deal that i couldnt pass up on those pistons, and 2, i had a rod come around and slap the crap outta a cylinder in that motor, so it would need to be bored anyways. any thoughts on the vic jr?? really thinking about getting one but dont know if it would be best or not.. im hoping to run in the mid 10's or low 10's.. but i dont run much 1/4 mile tracks mostly 1/8th and wanting to run maybe a 7.0 or lower if possible?? still wanting thoughts!!!! thanks for your input guys!!

Looks like a nice build you are going to have. By the way I'm build a similiar motor but a small block Chevy. I'm also using the Mahle 4.060" piston for a 6.125" rod. Mine weigh 414 grams. My Scat forged I beam rods weigh around 600 grams. I know different motor but Scat says the rods are good for either a SBC or an LS1.

GTA my rods arent scat they are actually an off brand but they look extremely good, no casting flash or anything, they look like a high dollar rod, man those pistons are pretty light tho arent they for a big piston? i dont really know weights but from what i looked around and seen i thought that mine were light lol.. trans_am thanks for the input on the vic jr! want some more thoughts on it but looks like i may be doing that since its alot cheaper than a 92/92 setup!! also you can use a carb plate setup right??
