Texas Speed H/C Setup
I know this is probably not the right forum for this, but the internal section gets much more traffic than the drag race results forum and as section sponsors who have put a ton of time into my setup, I think Texas Speed diserves this post. The guys at Texas Speed definately get big props for the combo they spec'd out for me.
Yesterday, I went 11.436 @ 121.16 with a combo of their MS4 cam, PRC Stage 2.5 5.3L heads, and a TH400 with a TIGHT nitrous converter (was built for a 300 hit on top of this engine) all packaged in a 3600 lb car. Even more amazingly, this pass was achieved while launching OFF IDLE (only a 1.74 60 ft) and baybing the car to save the 10 bolt.
Once I get the 9 inch in the car and leave off the trans brake, I can definately believe that 10.90's are possible on the motor and an easy 9 second pass on the moose juice.
The car was driven to and from the track, and couldn't have had better street manners even with the aggressive setup.
Thanks a ton to you guys at TSP and all of my friends who have helped me get this thing together and down the track successfully

Congratulations on the times, that sounds like a pretty mean car! Me and a couple friends drove down to Texas Speed last week to dyno-tune our cars and the guys there are great. They talked with us all day and we pretty much got to hang around their facilities all day long and it was a great experience! I will be going back there again in the future without a doubt, keep up the good work guys!!

I'm just tickled that this "budget" combo is outrunning a lot of cars that have thousands more in them. I can't say enough about working with the TSP guys, they know their ****, and make proven combos (mine is an example) at a reasonable price.
