Question New Camaro 3800 motor

i was wondering what simple inexpensive mods i should get first for my new 1996 Camaro. it has a 3800 motor and everythign is stock.( except for shocks)

You should buy you an ls1..........no seriously though i don't know of anything other than exaust

Sweet thanks man how much do they run for usually? i know the mods i have to get to mke it a ls6 i just needf to know were to ge and how much.

yeah i am new. its my new camaro my first car... only 15 he he but i know quite a bit about most cars i guess. just needed some help with these ls1 and 6 and regular v6'ses

Just drive it, dont waste your money, after you can afford a new camaro with a ls1, sell your current one and nab the ls1 camaro

Its not cheap but turbo is the way to go with the 3800.

I agree but he said inexpensive....It would be cheaper to sell the six and pick up a LS car in the long run than turbo.....

yes spend your money on making look good and have a descent stereo youll get way more chicks with a nice looking car than a bumble bee v6 plus way less likey to brake down i rode the bus many of days because of trying to hot rod my truck not very cool lol

I know a couple guys that have 3800's in their fiero's with superchargers on em'. lol But save your coin man and get a v-8. I've got 3 v-8's and I'm only 21. lol

Turbo v6's are fun, but once you start pushing the limits of the stock
parts something will probably break.....lol.

Save for a while, buy an LS1, drop money into that, this should be your DD for sure.

3800's can be good engines, not much better than a really good daily driver.
Ive had a 3.8 for over a year and a half now, ive looked into all the mods and it actually becomes clear that it would just be cheaper to buy an ls1 equipped car, or do an ls1 swap.
