Sleeper setup idea!

Sleeper setup idea!
The car will be a stock looking 01-02 Z28.
RMVB TH350 trans (stock shifter)
3600 stall
12 bolt 3.73 gears
Advanced induction ported 241s
215/230 .629/.592 117 LSA cam
Stock exhaust manifolds with gutted cats
Stock exhaust with a 3" electric cutout
Stock air lid
Ported throttle body
Money maker nitrous kit running a 125whp tuneup, with the bottle in a gym bag behind the driver seat (everyone knows about putting it in the spare tire well).
Racetronix pump kit
All tuned on HPtuners
MT ET Street 26x11.5-16 on stock wheels
It should make around 400whp on the motor and around 525whp on the unit, all while looking stock as hell. Should be a pretty reliable setup too.

this setup looks great very stealth the cam is very close to a tr cheatr cam Pat G just made a new cam for stock manifolds and it made great power. your goal should be made with my cheatr and 241 heads ported by mti made over 400rwhp I also like the gym bag idea

Another idea would be a Fast intake with the logos ground off and painted black...
Also, rather than a Camaro, I'd recommend a Formula and using turn down tips like the V6 with dual exhaust had. They look like a V6 sitting still...
Here is my "sleeper" similar-ish setup (minus the TH350 & 12 bolt) and ran 10.50's with a 10 bolt and 3.23's and a 125 shot that was hidden pretty well. (Heater hose does a great job of coving up stainless braid line)..and yes, this picture is on a u-haul after I finally trashed the motor after many years of abuse...I will say this, my car has been on the same 10 bolt and 4L60E that it came with. It has been a street/strip heads/cam/converter car since it had 20,000 miles on it. I finally threw a rod at 87,000 miles by making a mistake in the burnout box...and I think mid 11's on motor isn't too shabby for the car (I ran it exactly as pictured below).

The moneymaker is a wet kit, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it's supplied off the schrader valve on the fuel rail... That's easy to spot. Also, anyone racing should be able to identify the difference between the pan on a Turbo 350 vs. 4L60e. You don't think people would wonder why a "stock" car has an overkill 12 bolt rear end in it, let alone why it's sitting on a slick? At least go with an ET Street Radial, or get it to work on a 315 nitto. Taking the bumper supports out will make the front fascia sag, and you can see that the split second you pop the hood. There is "stealth" and real stealth.

I think its a bad *** idea! Kinda like my car, a stock looking SS, all that can be seen is my GMMG tips. But honestly if you out trying to get a race who crawls under a car. All of my suspension parts are red but nobody crawls under the car to notice. Its at stock ride height so it must have stock suspension right?

And, what are they doing under your car looking at the pan? What about the Ford 8.8, would that be easier to hide and still be stout?
Also...why not build it as a 383 while you're doing this? It would still be stock appearing...

A 10 bolt can go a long way in a light car with the right converter and suspension.
I've had people crawl all around my car looking for parts/nitrous/whatever. It's part of the game. Remember to have a "show" nitrous kit, that you're willing to disconnect

Works pretty well lol
I'm gonna stick with a Z28.
Most people would probably not notice the 12 bolt.
All the car would be is a cutout/tire car lol
Also, might not take out the supports.
I know a 10bolt would "work", although I would like to not have to worry about the rear every time I make a pass.
A show kit works pretty well, but not needed if you hid the real kit well enough.
The money maker setup he is referring to is totally diff than what you're suggesting. And, I'd bet good money you'd never find it...they are hidden very well.

Just remember, you're pretty much busted out the first time you make a pass and trap 125 in a stock car. A hidden dry setup is much better suited for little love taps when you need it. Wet kits don't like on/off/on/off/off/off/on

This setup is very similar to my Trans Am from a few years ago. It was a very fun project. The gym bag with nitrous is definitely an old street racers trick. Many a competitor fell prey to the "bag of nitrous". You should have a blast with it.
