Default Patriot 243 Stage 2's showed up today

These are nice looking pieces! The flow sheet shows typical numbers listed on their site for 2.05/1.57 Stage 2 heads. They included the warranty sheet, head torqueing sheet and flow sheet. Should do well with the bump in compression to 11:1, FAST 92/92 and 224/228 cam.

The flow numbers are about equal to AFR 205's I think.

Nice...
I'll be interesting to see how it runs with the H/C/I.

Im running the 243's with the 59cc chambers and put down some good power with them. My valve sizes are smaller though.

Those are good numbers! Trying to find the specs on your cam. I am in hopes of those numbers with my combo. Do you have track times?

cam specs are 228/230 @.050 .585/.585 on a 112lsa. No track times. Im guessing somewhere in the 11's since I beat up on a 12.0 evo all the time.

I'm gonna go with the same heads.

Patriot Performance CNC Ported 243 LS6 / LS2 2.055"/1.57" 59cc Heads Assembled

What's the difference from your 2.05 and the 2.055?? Slightly bigger valves I'm getting

What Size combustion Chamber is on your heads 59cc?
What is the stock Combustion Chamber on a stock 853 head or 241?

66.67cc = 10.1 CR (stock LS1 head spec)

64.43cc = 10.5 CR (stock LS6 head spec)

These heads I am pretty sure are the 2.055 valved heads just called 2.05's.

I got the 64cc heads so with the .040" Cometics I will have 11:1

I will have it at the track the minute all changes are done (doing a 92/95 since Speed Inc. failed on delivery) and 42's. The 9" goes in the 25th so I want to head down on just that setup all bolt-ons and see if I can pull an 11. Then on to making some serious changes and hoping to drop it to low 11's.

Good info thanks. I dont see though how 2 twnths can raise the compression of the LS6 TO 10.5 though? It seems so little an insignificant.

This is what I got off Patriot Performance Website. "The 59cc head is just a milled version of the 64cc head. The 59cc will yield a .5 higher compression than the 64cc."

Also what size Combustion Chamber is the 5.3 Heads?

They definitely don't flow like AFR's, but Patriots are great for the money.

I did about 4-5 sets last year, and I saw a very consistant 30-35rwhp gain from them. The highest we saw was 41rwhp, but that was a 58cc head and thinner head gasket. Lots of compression.

Great heads for the money. If you could find a reputable porter to hand finish them for a good price, they're even better.

The 1992 number isn't the date. Actual date was 7/09. That's some other number... software I think

Do you have any sound clips?

How much of a difference is this cam toward the Torquer v.3? I read about the spring issues with the torquer so I'm curious on your pick of cam. Nice numbers again.
