Which cold air to go with
I just bought me my first camaro. I get 21 mpg around town. I found just the filter that bolts to the adapter plate, or the slp cold air. Which one offers better performance and mpg.
Thanks for any advice

basically all the lids are the same, no one lid will really shine over another.
the ones that have the cone-style filter instead of a lid work better for the WS6 due to the position of the hood scoops.
so as i said...any lid
and i personally like the SSRA better than the FTRA
the inlets into the filter
the front of the scoop, from about eye-level on a lift....i've never scrapped it

Thank You!
That's just intake I have a laundry list of mods and I am still N/A @ 2500 feet altitude. I just installed the new Diff a ZO6 diff with a hardened out put shaft last week. I cant believe that shops charge 8 hrs of labor when me and my buddy did it in his garage in 3 1/2. So in about another week or 2 we'll have test and tune and I'll post numbers I am also seeing if I'll change my rockers also. Just torn right now if to keep the stokers or go with rollers.

the pics i posted are of the SSRA
i thiink its still available at www.lmperformance.com
little $$ but well worth it i think.
and NO i can't imagine throwing a cai on a car would throw your tune out of whack. all it is doing is getting cooler air....and a mild amount of "ram air" at higher speeds.
the engine is designed to adjust to that.
