Default Supporting parts

K, I have an f13 for my car cause I'm gonna run cam only for now and do Afr heads when money is thier. Just want to know what I have to have to do the cam swap. Gonna get an UD pulley, already have the LS2 timing chain. Do I just need some gaskets?

You will need to make sure you have valve springs that are strong enough for the cam as well as some hardened pushrods. For gaskets you will want to grab the water pump gaskets, a front timing cover gasket, a front crank seal, and a new harmonic balance bolt. We have a gasket kit available for cam swaps (http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...id=85&catid=36) that would take care of these parts.

So could I get the 918 springs? They are rates to .600 and cam goes to .595. Would I be safe with the 918s?

Well, your pushing it with the 918's, plus I wouldn't run them simply because COMP has had some quality issues with those springs. PAC 1518's are very nice springs without going to duals. Patrick G just specd me a cam with .600 lift and the 1518's are what he recommended.

Get the PRC dual springs, retainers, locks, and pushrods from Texas Speed when you buy your gasket kit.
