Default anyone try these valve covers?

I was roaming around on the fleabay and I need a set of center bolt valve covers for my new heads. I always liked the raw finish of fabricated aluminum valve covers. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on valve covers. Anyone have any input on these?

Thats what I thought. I was just hoping to get a little feedback on them. I would rather not make the purchase and regret it. Do they even look like they would work for 243's?

They would work fine for 243's. At that price, if you don't buy them I will.

Looks great plus it says there's 4 available. Too bad the coil pack mounting points are still there...would be a shame to cover them up with the coils but if you relocate your coils you still have those stupid mounting pedestals there.

but wouldn't a catch can do what I need? I am just trying to stay away from the typical stock centerbolt covers and don't want to give an arm and a leg for katech covers or something.

sure as long as you have a feed port in each valve cover to hook it up to

jezus I can't believe I asked that. That was about stupid. So what would a guy do if he was to use these since there aren't any provisions on the valve covers? Just go without? I am sure that wouldn't be the best though.

you would have to get two drivers sides and run breathers or have a nipple welded into each one so you could run a catch can setup

Depending on how thick the material is you could just drill and tap a whole and get a threaded fitting to put on the back of it. But, having one welded in would probably look better. Either way it's a simple matter to add fitting to each cover.

You could run a PCV system with those covers.

-LS6 Valley Cover
-Put a nipple onto the oil cap & run it to the TB

+1 I've been watching these for about 2 weeks lol.

Edit: Actually these were the ones I was watching. They look to be the same, besides being polished.

As for the pcv, like people, I'd simply drill and tap them, and put it in a hidden spot and call it a day.

if I had a camaro I would have already purchased the chevrolet valve covers. They look good but I don't think they would fit the best on a ta.
