i just wanna see if the 114 with more intake duration still has the same chop to the idle.
eventually im going to go bigger when i do the heads.
since ive done more browsing (thanks to you) ive found that there are slightly larger cams out there that still may pass smog. like those Comps i PMed you....
im also thinking of doing the LE2 heads. i was looking at his 222/222 600/600 112 cam since the heads will have the springs to handle that lift anyway...and since it has 1* less over lap than the hotcam, i think it should pass smog just fine....
im pretty stoked on that comp 220/224 530/534 112LSA i found for you. i think it would be perfect for ya.....

you will spend a few more bucks on the cam, but you will save on shipping if you order the cam swap kit from them (which you will need).
that would be a no brainer for me....

well i dont like to be the guy who tells others what to do, but if you are going to change your springs, why not get a 224r or 228r from texas speed?

I can get a sound clip after my wife wakes up for her nite shift. I have a 228r on a 114 and it makes a great daily driver. I can still get 30+ mpg on 91 with 11.5ish compression. No fly cutting and my AFR's are milled to 60cc. I also have a 4" Mufflex with a Spintech out the back. lope is minimal and should be with any 228 cam. I ran another 228 cam last year (228/228@ .571/.571 on a 112+2). The cam had tons of lope until I had the car properly tuned. After that lope was again almost gone.
