Default 485 hp SLP H/C package??

Guys,
What's the deal with that package on the SLP website, has anyone heard anything good about it? It's for 1997-03 LS1's, and it supposedly makes 485 hp. Now I'm assuming you've got to have a full exhaust, intake, and all that nice stuff to (possibly) get it to 485. Do you guys think it's for real, or a bunch of bs??

thanks!

At the flywheel maybe, I'd belive that, but not at the rear wheels. And that would tuned and with full bolt-ons.

well there is about a 15 or 16% drivetrain loss for a 6spd and i like like 18-20% loss for a auto, i'll let you do the math because it's too late for me

485 *.85(15% loss) =412.25rwhp

Or the other way around 412.25/.85=485

Not bad numbers, but certainly not out of any decent head and cam package potential.

dont waste your money, there are far to many great h/c packages that have been proven to even look at the slp package. unless you like falling for slp's marketing

Nah jrp don't worry, just doing a little research
The fact that no one is running their h/c package put up a caution sign for me.
