i'm curious, how does a motor "mess up"?
i heard that the hotcam had 1 of the bigger lopes of all cams, and urs barely loped??
i hafta ask the basic questions, M6 or A4? tuning? bolt ons? headers?
just about any cam on a 112 should lope pretty good...

i agree with someday, the hot cam has a 112 lope, if you dont think that lope something was wrong or you tuned the **** out of it. stick with a 112 if your m6 for a daily driver, check out the comp 224/224 .581/.581 112lsa, or if you want less lift the TR224.

You can make any cam lope more or less by how you tune the PCM. Try a TR230 or X1 on a 111 LSA and set the idle at 600, take out a couple degrees of idle timing and you should have a motor that almost rocks itself of it's mounts.

Maybe the TSP 231/237 would be good for you.
The lope all has to do with the tuning.I'm not a fan of lope and my 236/230 runs pretty smooth.I ussually tune TR 230/224's so they sound stock, but some customers want lope so I tune some back in after.

TSP 231/237 here.

http://www-scf.usc.edu/~chutchin/ls1/TSP_231_237.wmv

After tuning and PCM learn, it lopes just a tiny bit milder now.

Call TSP, they'll hook you up w/ all the right parts.
Hardened pushrods, Comp 918's, and go for the Titanium Retainers.
For extra piece of mind go for dual springs instead of the 918s.
