An MS4 would be fine for a 383. Good luck with the build.

There are a lot of guys running MS3-4 cams in 383's. The cam is definately not too small for that motor, and the added cubes should make the most of the cam. In short what I am trying to say is I don't think it will max out the cam if thats what you are afraid of

Does anybody have any dyno sheets for a 383 with an MS3? I'm considering an upgrade over my 224/230 cam.

Here is one sheet https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...n-numbers.html

I know there are more, but I just don't feel like looking that hard. It looks like 500hp and 450tq+ on a very conservative set up, with a good looking curve.

An MS4 would make even more power. Not bad...

Default Cam

Good Cam forsure, But Custom Grind cam for the exact specs of your storker will always perform alot better to your motor. Balance everything from heads/chambers/pistons cc's/bore exc, then Cam is the Heart of it..
