Default oil pressure help

took my car for the first drive since done and it seems the oil pressure is low. It has a ported ls6 pump and i think i put 10 30 oil in it [ i think ]. The stock gauge cluster is hooked up with a new oil sender.

Here is what its doing, 40-50 cold at idle then when warm it hits around 20-25 at idle and 40-45 WOT. Iam gonna try a autometer gauge and see what it reads also.

Does that sound to low, i thought a rule was 10psi per 1000 rpm , so idle would work but WOT wont

I had the same issue and my problem was that the gasket around the cam retainer plate was blown and the bolts came loose.

Everythings new so its hard to say. After i change the oil and hook up the autometer oil pressure gauge if its stays the same i'll pull the front and see whats going on in there i guess

I have had mine since 27000 miles on it, I Haven't really taken it to 6 grand but when I romp on it it the OE gauge doesn't climb past 45-50...I have had people tell me it is normal.
