the width has nothing to do with it. It matters about backspacing...you should measure it and see what you need

I tried to put a 5.5 backspace 15x10 on my 98 and the wheels stuck out about 2 inches past the fender minus the tires.Although 5.5 is right for a 15x8it looks like **** on a 15x10.I would think you would need at least a 7.5 backspace if they even make them and if they did im not sure what kinda inside clearance you would have?

There are plenty of people here with 11-12" wheels, so width is not the issue as others stated above.

Are there just people on here going around to argue or what????????Neither person on this discussion said anything about width being the issue.I stated with a 5.5 backspace on 15x10 wheels looks bad. That he may want to look into another backspace. The gentlemen above me stated that width has nothing to do with it backspace does.

Really doesnt matter what kind they are as long as you have the right backspace it will have to be more than a 5.5 to look right. You just need to measure or wait for a response on some1 running 15x10s to find the correct backspace.

WOW dude, I was agreeing with you. The OP asked if 15x10's were too wide... hence my post trying to reassure him that the 10" width wasn't an issue.
