Default Peanut butter in my chocolate (blown head gasket?)

So i got done putting my car back together today and it looked like the sensor under my coolant cap was loose, so i tried to take it off and put it back on, but it kept coming off when i would test drive it... and it came off and blew up right next to an 03 cobra So i went to the gas station and filled it back up and it came off again after my car was heating up pretty good. I got home and looked at my oil just to check things out, and it looked like there was coolant in it. You know how it looks kinda like a melted candy bar or something. Like like brown mixed with dark brown, maybe it was cuz it just got really hot. Im gonna re-check it tomorrow. But if it is a head gasket, I might just put in a 6.0 that my dads friend has.

Ive got a couple questions, like will my HPtuners that is for 99 cars work on this motor? Even if its not a 99? Can i use my ls1 harness? If I use my harness can i still use my hptuners? and, my car has 170k miles, so i figure it would only be a matter of time before something else major goes. Especially since i have nitrous (which i never used) which is also why an iron block 6.0 would look a bit more attractive to me at this point. What do you guys think? Thanks

Depending on the year of the 6.0 your harness should work for the most part as long as you have a LS1. I doubt the tuner will work, and you should look into a tranny rebuild, and stronger rear end. I hear the 10 bolt isn't' very stout and as you mod you will blow it apart. If you can get the motor cheap sounds good but start saving for everything else.

yeah... well i kinda was saving for a dana 60, but now im gonna have to spend that on other things just to drive the car slow even. my racing days are gonna be put on hold for a little bit. my tranny is just fine for now, but i know im gonna have to get a rear sooner rather than later. at least i can make some money off of my hptuners since that will be useless to me.
