Default Need help after cam install

so after a few thousand miles of driving the car the low oil light keeps on coming on. the car was tuned right after the install. i have to keep checking the oil level every so often if i dont the light will come on. i have been putting in a little oil every time to keep the oil at the correct level. why do you think the car is doing this. i do oil changes every three thousand miles and the car hasnt had this problem until after the install

what color smoke should i be looking for? i was sitting at a light the other day and i saw like a light white smoke blowing toward the front of the car. i didnt know if it was bad bc i thought it was just the smoke from the new cutout and thats how it blows out. the car was warm when that happend. should i look if it is smoking from idle?

The new cam might have changed the amount of oil drawn into the intake manifold by the PCV system. Do you have a catch can routed into your PCV system?

About the smoke, oil will be a blueish smoke. White smoke is generally a sign of coolant burning if your engine is warm. When the engine is cold it could be coolant or just condensation.

Your oil level sensor in the pan is likely bad.

Unrelated to the cam install unless tune could set off the light.

How low is the level when you check it? Maybe a bad valve seal???
