These where original equipment lifters by Eaton who supplied GM. They where manufactured from 99 - 2004. The gentleman who is selling them is Bill Gaterman who is an engineer for Gaterman products who is a spin off company of Gaterman Manufacturing. Gaterman Manufacturing has been around for about a century engineering and manufacturing farming equipment. If you have any questions you can contact at Gaterman Products LLC Attn: Bill Gaterman 114 Meadowbrook Circle Daytona Beach, FL 32114 Email: gatermanproducts@gaterman.com they are sold through eBay at a great price.

The only other place I have found gm oem equipment at a good price is at rockauto.com. A set of Ls6 lifters for about 150 shipped that's w/ 3 day shipping.

From what I dug up those lifters where OEM lifters put in the LS1 99-01 ls1/ls6 02-04 valve train. Both Eaton and Delphi supplied lifters to GM for the LS applications. So any one who had a car with an LS1/LS6 engine of those years has used the same lifters. They are not new, as per new design, but are new never used lifters. They where bought from Eaton as overage when Gm stopped using them and went to the new LS2 engine/lifters. From what I have seen and researched the LS1 lifters can be spun up to 7200 rpm with the correct set up so for 100 bucks shipped to you its a dam good price.

He is correct .... there is nothing wrong with those lifters ... I spun mine to 7000 rpms for 40,000 miles with a 233/233 .598/.598 112 LSA cam and never had any trouble with them .. and put another 50,000 miles on them with a different cam ... that is a great price for a set of lifters.

I'm sure those lifters are fine, though I have no personal experience with them. If you were interested in an alternative SDPC has the new design(LS7) lifters for $122.00. They are just listed as Gen 3 replacement lifters on their site, but all Delco LS1 lifters purchased new are the LS7 design.

Ok so I bought the Eaton lifters from Gaterman which where the LS1/LS6 stock lifters. I have them in my Corvette and nothing but good things to say about them. I did an E-85 conversion on the car and I am redlining at 7K RPM and shifting at 6800. They are holding very well, they are accompanied by Comp 921 springs TI retainers and locks. The cam is an Ed Curtis Cam very aggressive. I am very happy with the results. You can see my final HP/TQ numbers in my sig going to have track numbers mid month. Any questions concerning the lifters pm me.

Thanks

I have a set of Gaterman / Eatons and as a couple OP's said they are new (1st design) Eaton lifters. Bill was with Crane and was super nice and very helpful when I asked about these lifters before ordering. The price he sells them at is hard to beat and I would absolutely do business with that company again.
