bad news....freeze plus is gone...
my dad was tryin to get my pilot bearing out while i was at work today and he tryed the "old fashion" way of gettin it out and pushed me freeze plus into the motor along with bread...it goes finger length in and drops down...im bout to pull the oil pan...where did it go...any ideas?..and dont call me stupid i told him not to even fool with it..but he did...

should be sitting in the pan or on the windage tray. Make sure to put a good sealer around the new one when you install it or you'll have oil leaking into the bellhousing/on the clutch.

for some reason I find it comedic when the "old school guys" (your dad) try to take their knowledge and fix these newer engines.
I give them lots of kudos for their "know how" of the old stuff. But parents and grand parents just don't understand all the changes these days nor do they usually want to learn...

If you mean the plug in the center of the crank shaft wow......you got some work to do.

welp thats where it was...it goes about finger length in..then drops straight down into the oilpan...you see that by just lookin into the hole...all in all it just turned into a mistake that cost me nothin but 7 bucks for a new freeze plus and 2 hours time..
