Is this Cam trash? I bought this from another board member. He said it was from a low mile LS6. When I got it, I discovered it has some pitting on it. My machine shop didn't want to use it - what do you think?

yeah - I mentioned it to the seller but his response was - "They (cam and springs) worked great for me, Unless something happened during shipping wouldn't be the first time with ups but they looked great to me when I pulled it"

To even think this is shipping damage is absurd - to say it is stupidly dishonest. It looks like a manufacturing defect rather than wear, in which case it could be ok to run it. I wouldn't.
