Lightbulb What cam with a blower???

Motor is a LQ9 with a paxton novi 1200 running @ 6#'s..The motor is currently being rebuilt with all forged internals and throwing on a smaller pulley to up the boost to 8-9 #'s...STOCK 317 heads

Im just wondering if I should throw in a blower/nitrous cam or another off the shelf cam from TSP or Thunder racing..I want the car to have power under the curve, not just an up top pull from the centrifugal blower...

Which would yield the greatest results?????

ANY input would be great

what compression? higher comp means less boost, but better low end... less comp is good for more boost and a big top end... how about a cam like 222/230 on a 115 or 116

What CC for the heads? That'll get you a compression ratio.

I am goin to run a 226/234 598/599 117, this is in a forged 347, 10:1 compression.

I had a 218/222 556/569 115 cam in the car before it was forged & was making 572/505.

EPP makes a really nice blower cam, so does ECS.

I would take a look at the Futral Camshafts. I'll be running a F7 in mine.

i am not really for sure. but my shop guy that did my gto told me that if i wanted to go f/i i would need to go with a higher lsa. i can still run a blower with the cam i have now, it will only allow for half of the air into the engine that the blower puts out. so he said if i boost out 8psi i am only getting in 3-4 psi. that is why it is better to put in a cam with a higher lsa you see a better yeild in performance per the dollar spent. i do plan on going f/i with this cam in the future, i just do not know which one or just procharge it or do a custom turbo build. probably a maggie cause of easy install...

Thanks for the suggestions

With the Futral cam will i expect to see a good amount of mid range power??
Do you think a stall would be needed?
