$1000 bucks to spend
I have 04 GTO with 24x/24x cam and big stall and headers. I'm stuck with stock ls6 heads and stock ls6 intake.
should I buy a FAST first or save up for some TEA 243's instead.
thanks, just curious on what I should do next.

Do both!!! Doesnt fit in your $1000 budget though..
A few things to concider though, When I took the time to take my heads off I replaced my lifters just for insurance. Because the large amount of time and effort for a head swap, plus the cost of head gaskets and head bolts, its worth replacing the lifters and trays while your there. So you dont have to tear back into them because of a stupid lifter down the road.
FAST has on its website that the 102mm for LS1s should be avaliable. Although you would have to buy a 92mm or 102mm throttle body. Ive also seen new FAST 92mm and throttle bodys on ebay for $1150, or you could find a used 92mm FAST intake and TB for under $1000.
Either option is going to cost over $1000 initally. But if you buy heads from TEA you can sell your old ones, or if you do the FAST you can sell your LS6 intake and TB.

We offer cnc porting of your 243s for right around $700 or you could buy a new set of PRC Stage 1 LS6 heads for just over $1000. If you buy the PRC Stage 1 LS6 heads you could sell your stock 243s on ebay & probably get back 350-450.

Just out of curiosity, did you replace the stock heads with 243/LS6 heads? If I'm not mistaken, '04 GTO's and the SSR came with LS1 engines (which did have the LS6 intake). For the first time, the LS1 engines were rated at HP as the Corvette.
'05 marked the introduction of LS2 engines in 'vettes and GTO's, which had the 243 heads and the '01 LS6 cam, but did not use the hollow valves.
Not that I'm trying to nit-pick. If you actually have 241 castings you stand to gain more from a swap to ported 243's, but your existing heads wouldn't be worth as much.
