Check the ringlands and wrist pin bores.and the skirts for wear.if it all checks out fine you can run them again.it's your block you have to worry about, usually the bore is wore out too far to put stock size pistons in,hense the term +005 and bigger.

The cylinder walls seem to be fine, no ridge at the top, no scratches at all and I can still see the stock cross hatch marks in the walls. i will be dropping off the block for a hone and to have the cam bearing installed on thursday.
One other question, i bought a fel pro gasket kit and it came with the graphite head gaskets will they be ok? or should i order some MLS gaskets?

Long as there are no problems with the pistons you can reuse them. Most people just upragrade since they have it all apart and are doing machine work.
Before you really do to much make sure you shop prices on a set of pistons and maybe rods. The prices arent to bad and and you can bump your compression for a little extra power and just feel safer about your bottom end. The stock crank is good for alot of power and you dont really have to worry about it till you are going crazy.
