Default Heads issue

So got the heads and cam done but when the car is started there is coolant leaking into the exhaust. Head gaskets are brand new as well as the bolts. The heads are used PRC stage 2.5 5.3 heads. Could the heads have a crack or possibly be warped?

What head gaskets did you use? Could be the gaskets didn't seal, could be the surface is warped, could be a crack.

Cracks are not always visible so anything I buy used is checked out by a shop before I run it....

Okay well the heads were taken off and the guy found that there was coolant in the intake runner, nothing leaked under the head gaskets. this doesn't look too promising

Were the head bolts torqued properly?

core shift.these heads are tricky to port.take too much out in the wrong spot ,you will get a coolant leak.

you might be able to have the cracked head welded.

Who did your heads and you should send them back who did the work. It would be nice to know who did your work so we stay away

The right place can fix any crack, but its the $$$ associated that usually stops it. Unless you already have $4000 in the heads....

Hey Bad, I brought the heads to LAB in Lindenhurst NY. Matt told me that they can fix mostly anything so I hope they can fix this. It's not me paying for it

The guy I bought them from has two choices, fix them or give me my money back. So either way it works out for me.
