Default compression test results

Well I had one done on my forged ls6 with je pistons with -2cc reliefs

Heads milled .050 59cc chambers

About 4 1/2k miles on engine

170 on 6 and 165 on 2 cyclinders

My question is about the numbers, Is the -2cc reliefs causing my compression to be lower and if so by how much? I see most with this setup minus the pistons like 190ish? I also have a tr230 if that matters.

The cam will affect static compression.
Was the motor warm ? How many miles on the motor?

Hi,
I estimate about –0.29CR for 2cc notches from 0CC’s.
Your setup is + 0.74 over stock 66.67 head, 0 CC’s with same deck & gasket.
If you went from an early gasket to a late gasket it would be –0.22CR.
Didn’t JE raise the deck? Is the cam setup retarded?
Good luck,
Steve
