Question Fuel For St2 Heads and TSP231/237 ?

Im going to be installing PP st2 5.3s and either a TSP 231/237 or a TR230/224 and i was wondering if i need to upgrade my injectors and fuelpump as well as i will be nearing 410-440rwhp?
Would Motorsport #30 do? if i have to and what about a 255 inline pump?

i dont think its a necessity but it would be good piece of mind to start upgrading your fuel system at that point...figure youd be in the 420-440hp range which is upon the brink of needing upgrades...id say get the stuff on and get dynoed...see what the a/f ratio is and go from there.

You'll be just fine running 440 RWHP with the stock fuel system in your '01. You do have the larger 28.5# fuel injectors. I certainly would not recommend running any nitrous on top of 440 RWHP N/A with the stock fuel pump, but you'll be fine if you stay N/A. We have installed numerous heads/cam setups pushing 440+ RWHP with the stock fuel system on the '98, '01, and '02 cars. If you had a '99 or '00 car, it would be a good idea to step up with a larger injector.

Unless you are planning on stepping up with more engine down the road or pushing a dry shot of nitrous, you'll be just fine with your stock '01 injectors. A 255 lph in-tank fuel pump wouldn't be a bad idea for some growing room down the road, though.

Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions about your fuel system or our 231/237 camshaft. The regular price on our 231/237 is $360, so it's pretty hard to beat!

Would an inline down the road be ok , i would rather not mess with install a intake. I though 98 was only year to have 28.5s and all 98+ had 26 im not sure just asking?
Also how is drivability with a good tune on the 231/237? Its a daily driver that sees the joys of stop and go traffic from time to time?
One last thing ZO6 cluth good/ bad for this H/C combo wont do much racing, how much would a Spec St 3 cost for clutch,PP,flywheel?
Thanks all for the help

An inline fuel pump will help some, but an in-tank will be a better setup to give you more growing room. The '01 and '02 LS1's went back to the larger injectors, so you do have the 28.5# injectors.

The drivability with the 231/237 is great with proper tuning. One of the co-owners, Trevor, ran that cam in his '02 SS automatic, and he did not have any drivability issues with tuning. It started perfectly on cold and warm starts. You just have to like a lumpy idle.

The ZO6 clutch will definitely be on borrowed time with a heads/cam setup. The SPEC stage III clutch has worked well in the heads/cam setups that we've installed here, and quite a few of them have put down over 440 RWHP.

Use the 7.4in pushrods for unmilled heads and you'll be fine with the stock injectors... I'm still on my stockers.

I have the YT's on my car, but if I had it to do over again I'd keep the stockers and wait on patriot's shaft mount rockers that will be coming out soon... if I just "had to have" some aftermarket rockers. I got in on a GP and thought they'd be worth some power, IMO the YT's aren't worth much to anything over the stockers power wise. There is nothing wrong with the stock ones under 7,000rpms.

What are the PP shaft mounts going to run? And when do they come out?
