Question which heads with TR224 112 cam?

hi,
i wanted to get some stage 2 heads, i have a TR224 112 cam now, i jus put it in 3 weeks ago with crane dual sprigs, titanium retainers, and pushrods,

can i just buy the heads and use my current valvetrain, or will i have to get the new heads assembled with new springs, etc..

i was thinking eaither TEA or PP heads, but dont know which ones, 5.3, LS6 or 5.7...
what do you guys recommend, for best bang for the buck heads to hit 400rwhp with long tubes, ls6 intake, tuning, cut out, and maybe a ported TB,
BTW, the car is a 99 SS M6
thanks in advance,

best bang for the buck is the PP 5.3's and yes you can get them bare or complete. if you get them bare you'll need to buy new vavles, vavle stems and then swap over you springs and retainers and locks.

TEA 1.5's here and she dynoed 399.9 with my 224/224 114 cam A4 car.. my friends car pulled 435 with the 224/224 112 cam in his 01 M6

they are only like 200 bucks more than PP's so you might as well get TEA or even absolute speeds... both are great!

Can't beat the price at Absolute Speed right now with the 20% off sale. Plus the performance...

That $200 could get him a pulley or a ported TB And don't forget the $200 on top of that he can get for his old heads.. since there isn't a core on the patriots.

There are two guys here locally that run the TR224 in A4's with the 5.3 patriots. That cam on a 114 is a killer "quiet" street setup.

I would go with one of the 3 heads GTP, TEA or AS
all proven to make great power. A.S might have better pricing?
with Mac headers, TR224 cam and S2 GTP heads I made
425rwhp 406rwtq tuned rich for nitrous so I know I could of made a lil more.
From what I have been seeing... I dont think you would make over 400rwhp with PP heads. Cheaper is not always better

I will do this for you.You pull off the crane springs, retainers and seat bases.Send them to me,I will assembl the heads and give you free valves and seals( 2.02 / 1.57 ).All of this will cost you the bare price of $1095.00 ( No Core ).And you will go easy over 400rwhp.

I am really impressed with my TEA stg.2 heads. I have the 5.7l heads milled .030 and gained 40hp THROUGH my 12 bolt. No other chages were made. Total power through my 12 bolt was 411/377 with the 224 cam.
