Default Morel length vs Ls7 Length

I read somewhere a long time ago that the Morel Lifters are longer than stock ls7 lifters. Any idea how much longer?

thanks in advance

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...-link-bar.html

All Morel LS1 hydraulic roller lifters are a direct replacement as far as being able to use them in your block but all need a .050 shorter pushrod as well.

We sell both the link bars and the OEM style ones that use the factory trays but both again are .050 taller at the pushrod cup and need .050 shorter pushrods as well.

I found my total length decreased by approximately 0.100". Some of that was due to physical length of the lifter (longer) and some due to less preload (0.030"-0.050").
