I have hand ported 243s on my ls1 with the ms4. But i have a 383 shortblock.

I think the combustion chamber is too small and the pistons will hit the valves.. but im not 100% sure.

It SHOULD clear stock valeve size and MLS gasket and no milling...

haha SHOULD is the key word here......i know of quite a few cam only ls1s running a MS4 but i personaly would feel alot better if it were my car to have the PTV clearance checked. just my .02

A buddy of mine is running this exact combo (stock, unmilled 243s), but with a cam that big, I would still check PTV since the heads will be off anyway. It'll take 10 minutes.
