Default lt1car ls1 swap wont idle??????????

I swap my 95 t/a with a ls1 from a 01 ws6 and 99 camaro harness and ecm. The onlt thing i did to the motor was a futral f14 cam. The car will start up and idle then seems like soon as you hit the trottle it wont idle. I noticed on my scanner the maf is reading 0 hertz? Does this mean i dont have any power? The car is untuned right now,But i see lots of you guys running untuned.
Is this from the cam or does the maf have something to do with this? Ohya the car revs good but soon as you let off it will start back firing a lil out of the pipes

different cam and first startup.. Keep on the gas for awhile. Even after changing batteries or a power loss my car will act exactly like that, except with the stock cam it won't totally die, just drop to about 300rpm. Keep it going for a few minutes, take it for a short drive. Next startup it should idle much better, but a tune will help a lot with a cam change too. That will get you around in the mean time. The computer needs to learn first

You'll want to fix that, probably a P0101 code in pending state right now.

Have whoever did the LS1 swap go back over the wiring harness and figure out why the PCM isn't seeing signal from the MAF.

Yeah you need to fix the problem with the MAF first. It won't be happy about idling anyway with that much cam and no tune but the MAF isn't helping. Get that fixed and tuned and you should be in good shape. We can get you setup on a mail tune if you need one.

You might want to poke around in the Conversions & Hybrids forum on this one.

just customized my harness for my conversion last weekend....i wanna say that pink wire to the MAF is actually a 12v feed that comes from the eng sen fuse that would be in the underhood fuse block if your still using that. its a 15 or 20 amp fuse i think. try jumping 12v to that terminal at the MAF while connected and see if anything changes. other things are powered from that fuse as well. i think o2's are on there as well. my guess is that circuit wasnt wired in.
