Default should I be worried?

car was warm, I decided to rev it up alil...my cousin comes around and tells me I have alil bit of white smoking coming out at high rpm. I barely saw any but it has to be a small amount. I don't think I smell coolant...

this concerns me because I'm saving parts for a nice top build, now this has me worried that I could have bottom block problems...rings?
what do you guys think. and if I go all the way through with the build, scared i've wasted time and money if It needed more work.

no other indications of problems? Don't sweat it, but check your oil level & coolant level regularly...

Compression test because someone saw smoke coming out when you were revving it. . .
Overkill. Water level good? Oil level good? Car running fine? Was it morning or afternoon? Cool or warm? Dude, if its working, don't screw w/it.

well I ain't gonna lie, my car is pretty much a POS... hate to say it, just rolled 160K today. Reverse pops out of gear ( needs rebuild ), motor runs OK but u can tell she's been around, clutch has siezed during a burnout at the track ( 1st and only pass, til I get it right ), the rearend seems to do a posi burnout about 1 out of every 10 spins lol....

but i'll keep it in mind, my bro-in-law backed his mazada 6 into the rear bumper last nite , took off a chunk of paint, sucks...damn

poor T/A has been through hell

If you have the funds for the new motor do it! It's always nice having the extra security that ur money isn't gonna be wasted! Be careful and get the car done!

You might be pushing water from somewhere...Your head gaskets might be starting to go...I would monitor your coolant levels to see if that is your problem...But then again, it could be condensation if the car is sitting for a bit and then you rev it...
Just have your cousin follow behind you in another car and punch it to see if you get the same results...
