Default Pistons and Rods for 408

what piston rods combos are you 408 guys running?
I am debating on Lunati or Eagle rods and Diamond pistons. I want to run around 11:1 compression on my 317 heads at 71.06cc's and cam is going to be .587 lift Any info part #'s would be great. Also, how much of a difference between Eagle crank/rods and Lunati? Do I need to pay that much more for Lunati if I am not going boost or spray?
Thanks

Definately go with the diamond pistons, you wont be disappointed. I'm personally running Manley rods in my current 408 stroker, but my next motor (boosted) will be running Eagle Rods. If you are not going to boost or spray for sure in the future, the Eagle Rods will be plenty for what you are doing.

If you are looking for a set of rods, PM me, I got a set of 6.125" Eagle rods.

Go with the lunati rods...they sell for $499 compared to eagles that are close to that price.

the lunati pro mods are rated @ 850 hp
