-Aluminum LS1, 4.030" Bore = 370 Cubes. resleeved with Melling cyclinder Sleeves
-LS1 3.622" Crank- stock
-Scat H-Beam Rods with ARP rod bolts- #2-350-5700-2000- RPM Machine
-Mahle Forged Pistons 4.030" Bore, Plasma Top Ring -4 valve relief -#LS1314030F04- Lingerfelter
-Comp Cam Custom Gind- Dur. 238/254- Lift .605/.612 Lobe 112LSA 112ICL

-Stock Lifter Trays.
-Engine Balanced
-Clevite H Series "race bearings"
-Rollmaster double Timing Chain #1140
-LS6 Oil pump

Block has been Decked .015" for added compression.

With Stock GM gaskets .051" here is the following compression guide.

On 72cc Chamber heads (L92, LS3 heads) = 11.28 compression
On 67cc Chamber Heads (Stock 241, 853 Heads) = 12.03 compression Recommend E85 or race fuel
On 59cc Chamber Heads (5.3 or other Milled heads) = 13.49 compression Race fuel or E85 required for this compression

the PN you have listed for the rods, is for a small block chevy....not an LS1
also, the pistons are for stock length rods....

and with your deck height, a 6.098 rod and a 1.340 piston height, your piston will be .024 above the deck...that only leaves you with .027 quench. you need between .030 and .040

I'll make up for the quench with thicker head gaskets and the ls1 is a small block 350 playa

What are you doing with it? What heads? Cam looks different, and don't like your lifter choice imo.

Really? Check this link and tell me why they have a LS1 section all the way at the bottom.

http://www.rpmmachine.com/scat-conne...am-chevy.shtml

Yes it is a chevy small block. No it's not a gen 1 small block or compatable with gen 1 parts. Check the specs they list those rods won't work.

That cam seems off the wall, doesn't look like you will be making enough power to justify sleeves, just buy a LS2 or Iron 6.0 block.

also I am confused, do you already have the sleeved block? or are you going to sleeve a block you have? is your block already decked? People don't usually deck the LS because the pistons already come out of the hole.

that cam, from the specs looks like its for an engine with LS3/L92 heads. notice the large split on the duration?

That cam is fine. The large split works with cathedrals too. 95% of the cams you see on here are wrong. You need more than a 4 degree split on LS cars. Obviously this is a nitrous cam though.

I would advance that cam 4 degrees though, I don't like it on a 112 ICL.

Did you buy this or are you simply asking about it? I saw it in the for sale section a while ago and you will see my comment in that thread.

The block on that engine appears to be from a 5.3L truck block.

- 88lbs less than an iron block
- All oem front accessory locations (alt)

- You don't need conversion harnesses, covers, cam gear, etc...

- It says 5.7 on the block so you can play it down when racing.

- The price was good on it.
