Talking Vengeance Racing 575 HP kit

I just started getting parts for my Vengeance Racing 575HP kit. The heads came today, and so did the intake (Not included in kit). Still waiting on the Cam VRX5 ( 236/238 .601/.605 113 LSA) 1.7 Yella Terra Ultra Lite rocker, Powerbond 25% under drive pulley. Car already has Kooks LT w OR Y pipe and GMMG exhaust. I'm hoping for 450-480 hp on the ground. Car put down 312 hp as is. Can't wait to feel the difference!!!!
I also just order Billet Specialties 10X15 & 3.5 X15 wheels & M/T drag radials. Running stock M6 and clutch, 4:10 gears in stock rear. I hope the trans & rear hold up a little while, I'm out of money to replace them.

I only laid the heads down to take some pictures, but thanks for the information. They are back in the box.

I hope to have everything installed by the end of the month. Still waiting to hear from Vengeance about the rest of my pasts.

you beat me to it. That was the first thing I was gonna say when I saw the picture. A number of things COULD happen. Doesnt mean that they will. You want a clean and free of debris surface as this world will allow on heads. Yes, you could clean them off, but cleaning them will just rake debris around on the surface. Its best to not touch the mating surface until you are ready to just lay them over the studs.

WOW!!! That's remarkable. I clean every part that going into or onto my engine. I learned that the hard way years ago. Never take it for granted that someone else thinks something is clean!! As far as " laying down of the heads" you are right, you do not want dirt or contaminates fouling up you heads, but cut me a break, that's all you guys took from my post????? I COULD have allowed foreign matter onto the surface of my heads. And cleaning them will only rake debris around the surface?? What do you use to clean your parts with orangeapeal, a rake?? I think I'm a little smarter than that! You guys trying to ruin my new parts high or what??? Please don't be offended, I'm not!! ha,ha,ha

right out of the box. The benefit with running these heads is they are cheaper because they don't do any port work to them. They are cast with ports that are shaped like ported heads. I hope they are right. They were about 600 to 800 dollars cheaper than the ported ones. I will see what I get when we tune it.

I'm just trying to make sure you get all you can out of your new parts with 0 issues! No new-parts-high block here!

Oh yeah, you are going to need a new clutch. That kind of power will no-lube rape your stocker.
