Catch can installation on ls1
Hello, I want to see if some one can tell me how to properly install a catch can. I had extreme horsepower install a catch can, and it doesn't seem to be catching any oil. One hose is ran to the pcv valve on rear of the driver side head, and the other hose is ran to the front of the intake manifold in the port directly under where the throttle cables are. Is this ran properly??? There are two ports on the passenger head that have been capped off. they are at the bottom of the head next to the intake manifold. One is on the front part of the head and the other is on the back side. Are those supposed to be ran as well? I have a breather cap on the passenger valve cover. What is happening is my car is smoking very badly. I know for a fact it is not the rings, due to the fact it wasn't smoking before I cammed it, and the cylinder walls looked beautiful. I did have ported and polished heads put on, with supposedly brand new valve guides. So I am thinking the 2 ports on the passenger heads may have something to do with it. Does anyone know???
