What sort of power gains have people gotten with a TSP Torquer V2?

I didn't dyno mine before the install, but afterwards it made about 100-120 more rwhp than factory advertised with torquer 2 and stg 2.5 5.3 heads. It ran a 13.30 stock and 11.50 after install. It pulls hard on the street, sounds good through free flowing exhaust, and is a good DD cam with a good tune.

What are good cams to build good torque and mid range power for an A4 to get around the 400 marks? Or should I custom grind a cam?

With these specs ( 234/230 602/598 on a 112 LSA) would this cam make good horsepower and torque?

If you custom grind a cam most places offer a sheet for you to fill out exactly what's done to your car so they know how to spec the cam

I want a cam in the middle. Not too mild nor wild. I don't plan on heads any time soon so something that will make good horsepower alone without too rough of an idle. Any suggestions? I have an 01 TA A4 basic bolt on.

Think I made 347 with midlengths, lid, ls6 intake, and cutout. Currently make 401 with those same mods and v2.

As much as I wish a reverse split was ideal these days I would suggest that you may want to read the cam guide and then decide what you want to do. Call TSP or EPS and have them spec a cam per your specific application. Nothing wrong with just an off-the-shelf grind though. Sometimes. But you seem like you are nearly clueless as for what you need.

The TR224 or the TSP228r are both tried and true cams. Generally you will be down on torque if you reach out to these 240's duration'd cams though. Stick to the low to mid 230's and not to low of an LSA.

ALSO. I am guessing you are an A4. Are you already stalled for a cam or you still running the stock verter?

Also do I have to get a stall if I get a cam? I don't want my tranny to get burned out. I have 115k on it already. Thanks!

If you want to get anything out of that cam, then I would look at getting a converter.
