Default I don't know if its been asked but.

How much would be gained going to the tsp231/237 from the TR230 do you think its worth around 3 tenths over the 230?

Nope, it won't be worth 3 tenths. Thats roughly 30 rwhp assuming exact track/vehicle conditions....

I've personally seen back to back testing on bigger cams vs. the TR230, and haven't seen ANYTHING worth changing for. The most I have seen was 6 rwhp peak from a big split duration, but it lost TQ down low...

I was deciding between the TSP231/237 and the TR230 when coosing my second cam upgrade (from a C1). I went with the TSP 'cause I think it's very versatile for future internal modifications which I plan (heads, stroker), and it handles spray well too. But cam vs. cam, I don't think it's gonna be that much of an improvement vs. the TR230.

i don't think it would be worth it. you *might* gain a few ponies up top, but will definetly not have a torque curve that compares with the tr230. gotta love the super flat curve of the tr230

I think there was a post where a guy gained lke 15 hp going from a x1 cam to g5-x2 but that was liek a year ago. I am interested i making a change also if there is atleast 10 hp if ntoits not worth it.

You mean this torque curve isn't sweet (TSP231/237 on stock heads)? See link....

that torque curve does look really nice. although that graph in general looks pretty funky. it also looks like that car has ported heads, either that or that is the best dyno i've ever seen out of that cam. that can account for some of area under the curve. i'm just saying in general, the tr230 seems to have a nicer torque curve than the big split duration cams like the tsp231/237 or g5-x2. i'm not saying the peak number will be higher, but every single tr230 graph i have seen looks just like mine with a REALLY flat torque curve. not that it matters a whole lot in the 1/4 since you're up in the rpms the entire time. but it is nice on the street.

Last I checked, my car had stock heads.
Good observation on the peak numbers. I'd reduce them by about 18. The graph reads too high, but the curves are still informative.
-This was my car at a place known for a high dyno. I still had a catback at the time. I now have true duals and feel the car has responded very well to them. Would be interesting to see how much area under the curve was gained.
