Lightbulb Porting the LSX intake

I want to know if you can port the neck of the 78mm LSX intake to 80mm
so it is matched to the BBK 80mm throttle body.

Has anyone opened these intakes up yet to see what the inside looks like?
Just to see how the fit and finish is,or to see if anything has to be smoothed out?

Thanks

I opened mine up and there seems to be some spots that need to be ground out on the lower section. As far as porting for the TB, I dosent look as if you can. Grinding in that area will put you into the TB gasket. After setting it on my LS-6 heads, I will have to widen the ports on the intake to match my heads.

imagine how much off the bigger ported heads are for strokers! great info, this is exactly what I expected to hear, no we need some real tests of this intake, port match intake and a a 78mm TB from fast. or a 90mm setup port matched.
