Default are there any aftermarket oil pans yet?

Just looking at replacing my leaky oil pan from my last motor and was wondering if there were any aftermarket pans out yet. I haven't seen any myself, but you never know. I thought that I might as well ask.

Thanks,
Roman

I like Canton racing pans, i even use one on my SBC, but dont use one for the purpose of sealing a oil leak! This replacement could not seal as well as stocker(by design) Maybe its worth some hp but it couldnt be as rigid Imho.

According to Chris Straub, Stefs is working on a couple of trick oil pans too. I'm sure he will pop in and let everyone know when they are perfect and ready for release...

I'll be sure to have something posted up if he want's to keep data available strictly through Stef's dealer network...

Thanks for the replies guys.

So right now it looks like the Canton is the only one with a couple of others in progress.

The oil leak that I'm trying to seal is a 5" hole in the bottom of my pan.

I was just looking around for other possibilities before I go and buy a stock oil pan replacement.

Thanks,
Roman

We have been producing both dry sump and wet sump pans for the LS1 and LS6 engines, these include for the 24 hours of Daytona and several drag race applications. Available in steel and aluminum. Word has it we will be working with GM on some modifications on the oiling system for better oil pressure and control.

Aftermarket pans are available through our WD's and engine builders.

I wonder how stiff the aftermarket ones are compared to the stock one. All the literature GM released on the LS1 years ago said that the LS1 oil pan was a structural member of the engine.

Canton's pans are still a few weeks away, according to them...
