Whether these are the best solution depends on what you are building, but as general matter those are excellent heads.

Those heads can make excellent power. I let PatrickG do my cam selection.

In theory you are supposed to use roller tip rockers with those heads because of the bronze valve guides. However, if you run a cam with 0.600 or smaller lift, and you are willing to take the time to shim to the proper "wipe" you can run OEM rockers. If you go this route, I would recommend you upgrade the trunion bearings for relaibiltiy.

Another popular opiton would be a set of Yella Terra Ultralites.

Finally, the more expensive option would be a set of shaft mounted non-adjustable Jesels.

you should have bought a head/cam pkg from vengeance racing.trick flow heads and a complete valve train.you can run your stock rockers with a shim kit,get a comp trunnion bearing upgrade kit.you will need longer push rods,at lest 7.5 .get a cam from Patrick-G or EPS cams.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>

Don't shim stock rockers, it will damage the tips of the valves, and accelerate the guide wear.

I stand corrected.

When I got my TFS 215s from TEA I went with the Jesels (also from TEA), but I somehow got the impression that the only risk associated with the OEM rockers had to do with the long term effect on the valve guides, which could be minimized with attention to the set up.

For the money those are excellent heads. I have the CNC ported 215s & they work really well with my setup. They are $700 more than the 220s & only make 10 whp more so you made a good choice.

The most popular rocker people use on these heads are the Yella Terra ultralight 1.7 non adjustables. This is what I went with. Jesels & T&D rockers are the best but are expensive ($1000+) Yella Terras havew been known to break but I guess they had a bad batch go out or they werent set up right. Trickflow claims that the 7.5 inch pushrod is what you should use, but mine are milled & I after I measured for the proper pushrod length I needed to go with 7.550 so its recommended you measure.

It should work well. With those heads it doesnt matter what cam you go with youre gonna make good power. I wouldnt go much under a .600 lift though. With stock heads the MS4 is real close on PTV interference but because of the 13 deg valve angle the TF heads have you gain more PTV clearance so it shouldnt even be an issue. I cant say much for the MS4 & good driveability. I was getting my car tuned & a guy just had his MS4 setup tuned & it was very choppy idle. For $25 Pat G can spec you a cam for your specific setup. I have heard nothing but good things from others that did. I just went with an off the shelf cam (TSP 228) because a lot of others here said it is a very good street cam. It is very easy to drive on the street but has some lope & surges slightly at times but not bad at all. I like my setup but I am sure it could be better if I had a custom cam.

Dude, I know you're new, but try searching. A lot of your questions can be answered by reviewing and reading other posts. Pat G aka Patrick G is well known for recommending camshafts for people on this site. He's very knowledgeable about the dynamics of the LSX motors, but you will need to provide a lot more information regarding your goals for building an engine. Such as drag-only or weekend warrior? Daily driver or idle that will shake the fillings out of your head? What are your other mods (intake, headers, throttle body, etc.). Automatic or manual? Nitrous?

You see - lots-o-variables! Good luck!
