Default Best route to 400rwhp?

Hey guys I'm new. I've got a stock '98 Z28 M6 and I'm planning to go for the 400rwhp mark--no higher. I was thinking of doing a LS6 intake, 233/239 cam with supporting valvetrain upgrade kit, and Pacesetter long tubes with TSP true duals to finish things off. I've read this should get the job done on a reasonable budget (and hopefully not require upgrading the rear). It's a summer car that won't see the track. So what do you guys think? And I will be improving suspension as well but I want the power first then dial in everything else since I won't be going any higher than 400rwhp.

You will hit 400+ with that set up..I did when I first started modding my ride I did it using what you have listed except I used a TSP Torquer v1 cam and hit 414 with it... so you should come in above the 400 mark with ease.

Yeah you should hit 400 with that setup, but I hope you know 400 turns into 450,then 500 lol,you can say no more than 400 but trust me once you start getting used to the extra power you will want more,it will suck the life right out of your wallet, bank account, and credit cards, lol, I know you have a set goal, but at least plan on doing heads,

You say only 400 right now but once you drive it around for a bit and get used to it, it will begin to feel slow. Trust me my original dyno was 386 and almost 4 years later i'm close to doubling that.

Oh yeah and the mods you picked will get you above 400 easily.

Being a m6 you should hit your 400 goal.

Thanks for the responses guys. Everyone tells me I'll end up wanting more power, and I probably will, but it will do me for a long time... I hope!
