Default pac 1218 warranty?

So today was driving my car home from work and got on it a bit. At 4500 rpm in second I had a bad valvetrain noise so I imeadiatly shut the car off then coasted to a spot to pull over. Got the car home and pulled my valve covers found a broken intake valve spring broken. Everything was put together correctly and I even was running stock pushrods and yes I know.
So my question is this would they warrenty the springs since I only got them a week ago and have less than 150 miles on them? Springs were made 12/02/2010. I'm super pissed and a valve spring is the least of my worries since I have a bent valve but wtf

When you say "Everything was put together correctly and I even was running stock pushrods and yes I know."
Did you measure install height?
Did you cycle heat them?
Is you car cammed?

It seems that you did not set the height on them. This could contribute to a failure. See springs are good to say .600 lifts but the trick is "at 1.x installed height". Failure to install at proper height will change the spring lift capability.

idk with a .595 lift they would have to be way off to break them that quick.

Preditor-zz I fully understand what you are saying and don't dissagre but with coil bind @ 1.140 it would have to be off an extreme amount.
Honistly I did not check it granted its a over sight. But if ones off they all would be and if thiss was the isssue it most likely of happened sooner. I'm not trying to dispute it. Hopefully they will take care of me and warranty the ssprings

One question what dual valve spring kit you guys recommend? Would the damper spring keep the valve from hitting the piston if one broke again?
Thanks joe

I fail to see how this is PACs fault? If you didn't verify the correct installed height then your valvetrain was not setup correctly.

I understand when springs are installed the height needs to be measured.here's the thing factory valve springs have a install height of 1.8" my spring seats have no shims under them.if any thingss the springs probly would a Tad loose.the spring is broken cause it is defective not due to checking in stall height.if it was a coil bind issue I would have to be off by double my lift to create coil bind, if this was the issue it would have happined far sooner probly while heat cycling the springs. Not after 130 miles of driving

Here's what I believe to have caused the broken spring.
the lock must have popped out and put a lot more preload on the
spring.

Here's how the piston came out
looks like it will be fine to use but no more nitrous.
grooves look to be .015 deep at most. Need to grab my mic
from work

And here's the bent valve

And lastly I have a cracked valve guide.you guys think it would be cheaper to replace
or just get a new head? Its onlyy got 8k original miles

If it is only the guide that is cracked it is replaceable.
