Default need cylinder head advice

I have a 383 stroker ls1 i had built over summer. i didn't have enough money to buy heads cause i ran into a few problems i wasn't expecting. i'm looking at buying some heads and was wondering what was a good head for a decent price or would it be better to rebuild my 241's with 80,435 miles on them and do a port, polish and a valve job?

I would at least find some used 243s. If you have the coin have them CNC'd by Total Engine Airflow or Advanced Induction.

I would also send them to Mr. Mamo. Buuuut, I would rather just get a set of AFR's that he has surgically mastered. Some port jobs cost as much as a set of budget CNC'd heads with hardware included in some cases.

Im probly going to do a similar setup, and I'm getting AI's 243's.
It's about $1000 to have some ported.
