No one has true duals with Loudmouth II mufflers yet?
I've been doing some searching for running true duals with SLP Loudmouth II mufflers, the ones that are actually mufflers, not the resonators.. I currently run the Loudmouth 2 catback on a y-pipe and want to conver to an X-pipe with dual mufflers..
At first I was considering Sweet Thunders, or Powersticks, but now I'm really wondering what dual LM2's would sound like. I think it would sound sweet, and I have not read about anyone running a setup like this yet, or find any sound clips..
I'm running a cutout also, and it just sounds like garbage anything above idle.. The chambered mufflers may be a little too loud for what I want. My buddy has dual Dynomax bullets dumped, and it's cool, but way too loud for what I want. This is where I feel the LM2s would come in.. A sound tone of a single LM2 is very nice, but a little quiet, so an x-pipe and dual should really wake them up.
I don't need the response "just go bullets" or whatever please. Just looking for input on dual LM2s. Thanks

I found a video online with a guy running dual LM2s, but the quality was bad. I'm really surprised I can't find more of this, I think it would sound great!
Also, I meant to put this in external engine, not internal. Sorry mods!

Have you seen the inside of a LM2? It actually has packing in it, versus the bullets.
EDIT: I just looked up to see what pictures I can find, maybe the modular mufflers are different from the catback mufflers. Because on my catback, I can't see through it at all, there is a cone in the front, and then more packing. The modular ones I find online are straight through.. Odd?

THe Dynomax bullets have packing as well. THe LMII came about becasue in the early 2000's, tons of guys were replacing the resonator in their LMI's with Dynomax race bullets. SLP just made it an option on their systems. Considering it is most likely either a fiberglass or steel wool type packing, my assertion that they will sound similar is most likely very accurate.

The LM1's would be way too loud for me, IMO.. It's either dual LM2's, or some Powerstick mufflers, but I don't want extreme loud.. just the nice sound of an Xpipe..

no input on the lm2 setup but another overlooked muffler that sounds great and isnt to loud is the moroso spiral flow. I switched out my lm2 for it and it gave the car a good deep tone with no rasp.

I keep going back and forth. Powersticks sound so good, but they will probably be just way too loud for what I want. I drove a buddies GTO with an X into Dynomax bullets, and that was way too loud for what I want to drive with everyday, so I imagine the Powersticks can't be any quieter. Dual LM2s I think it is.

Well, found another LM2 muffler for cheap in the classifieds. Looks like dual LM2 mufflers for me it is. I guess since it's rare or nonexistent on here for anyone with dual LM2 mufflers and an X pipe, I'll be the pioneer in this field.

I have true duals and originally with LM2's. They were nice and throaty but NOT loud enough for me. I got alot of compliments on how it sounded, but get even more with the setup I have now. I swapped them with LM1's and added an X pipe. Header install will be complete this weekend. I'll post a vid.
