Default Need assistance on purchasing new heads!!!

Well I have finally decided that need a new set of heads. I was looking at the Patriot Heads and they are probably the ones I'm going to go with. Whatever I get will be the stage II version. What I'm trying to decide between is either the 5.3 or the LS6. I'm wanting you opinions on which pair you reccommend for my set up. See sig for set up. Also which ones would you reccommend if I switched to a TSP231/237 cam. If anyone out there has a similar set up will you please post ETs and HP, Torque numbers if you have them. Thanks in advance for the advice as I have built my car based on the reccommendations of members of this board and have yet to be dissappointed. Thanks Jessie

If you stick with the 224, get the 5.3's. The 5.3's will work good with the 231/237 also, but the LS-6 version will net you about 10 more RWHP.

I think the 5.3's with that 231/237 cam will be a killer combo.

Look at the post PP flow numbers. I think they should work very nice with your new cam. Also only about a week to get them!

I would do the 5.3's myself. They're good for torque and a small bump in compression.

If your thinking 224 cam and 5.3's it's also well worth considering TEA 1.5's which are much better these days than the older TEA S2's my car has.
