Default lookin into a 6.0 block

hey im lookin into buyin a 6.0 block wat adaptions do i need in order for it to fit and start wit no problem.....im goin to use a v3 cam wit maybe the stock heads dependin on the budget built...any feed back wit be hella helpful.

It depends what 6.0 you get. LS2 requires a few tweaks. LQ4/LQ9 is pretty much bolt in but peripherals need to be interchanged

Quick test because 06/07 were transition years

Smooth flat timing cover like your LS1 had is a direct swap. Just drill/tap the alt bracket boss

Cam sensor up front or VVT thing requires the tweaks a LS2 would require because of the conversion from GEN III to GEN IV. Also check the crank reluctor. 24x works fine with your stock PCM, 58x requires a conversion box or custom harness with the newer PCM

An 06 yukon has a 5.3 not 6.0. If its a Denali then it has a 6.0 lq9

i called texas speed and they were tellin me evrythin should work fine jus got to by a little kit to adapt som harnesses my other question is wat is the diffrence of the 24x and the 58 and how do i tell the diffrence bettween the two wit the block that im try to look for??

Look at the crank sensor, black is 24x, gray 58x

I called Texas Speed and they were telling me everything should work fine just got to buy a little kit to adapt some harnesses my other question is what is the ........
IMO, spend your $$ on some English classes. Much more beneficial to any live American
I didn't even try syntax and punctuation.
