Smile eps 226/234 cam with trick flow 215s

i am going with this setup and just wondering if anyone else has done this before. were you happy with the results. what size head gasket did you use i was told to use mls with 52 tho thik. what size bore does a stock ls1 have? if anyone has the part nuber for this it would be great. i think its a 3900 bore but i could only find a 51 thou 3900 bore head gasket. can i use that one or correct me if i have the wrong boar size. i just also wondering has anyone measure ptv with this setup and if so what was it. i wast told not to worry about it. what size pushrod should i use also. thanks for help

there are quite a few people who run this cam and even with those heads. You can use a variety of gaskets .040 compressed thickness being optimal.

That's the set up I am going with too. Just got my heads. What power are you expecting with an LS6 intake?

the GM MLS gasket is .051 not .052. Even if anyone made a .052 it would make no difference at all. The bore size is 3.900 inches.

PTV clearance is not an issue with set up unless you are going with a high compression. I am going with a 61cc for around 11.0:1

I've got pretty much that set up plus a Fast 92/92 but minus the 215 heads. Cam makes great power all over the board. You will enjoy it Keep us posted on results.

I don't know about the port alignment with a ls6 intake ,but with a fast intake you will benefit from thicker intake gaskets.I think mr gasket has a thick ls1 intake gasket.contact Chrss1313 or view his thread on this subject.
