Default head gasket

ok i ordered a set of head gaskets from summit they are gm mls gasket just wondering if they will work on a 98 ls1 block i noticed on the label there for 02-04 is there a differance ? an also my bore is 3.905 now will i have to get a bigger head gasket ? sorry if this sounds dumb just need pointed in the right direction thanks in advance.

im fairly sure they wont because when i was shopping for some on ebay they had them listed and had pics that showed why they wont work on early heads,theres a couple of tabs or something that interfere with them,i would go on ebay,look up them in the buy it now section and you will see rt away what im referring to

You will need stock size head gaskets for a 3.905. GM MLS will do just fine AS LONG AS you have different heads than the stock 98s. Look at the bottom of your head and you will see a tab looking thing on the chamber side. Graphites need to be used with these. In all honesty, I would get some different heads while you're this far along anyway. Graphite head gaskets suck almost as much as the 806 heads.

I have prc stage 2.5 5.3 heads .so Mayb I'm good there

In that case you are definitely good to go. Just make sure you get all that graphite crap on your block surface.
