Exclamation spun bearing or thrown clutch spring (or clutch related)?

I have had my spec 3+ clutch slipping for sometime and one day my car just started running bad as i went down the road. I drove it home easily and its making a spun bearing noise.

-my oil is is a quart or so low and is black because i have been low on cash and couldnt afford an oil change at the time. I also added a quart or maybe two of marvel mystery fluid to bring the oil level up because it was cheaper that $7 quart of full syn.

-i can feel the tapping in the clutch pedal

- i found a few silver specs on the dip stick.

- i pulled all the wires one by one except #7 and the noise didn't go away.

-i still have normal oil pressure like i always have.

-it will tap tap tap and then stop for a sec.

i'd guess this is the culprit. i wouldn't use that **** to lubricate my door hinges. remove your oil filter and cut it in half. if it is full of metal, you are done. you claimed you saw metal specs on the dipstick, that is not a good thing.
