I ordered from them about two weeks ago, just received notice they accepted my PayPal payment two days ago and it shows the status as ' processing '. They are def taking their time getting the pump to me, good thing I'm not in a hurry!

Some things are worth paying for. While im sure its probably a good product. I like my car to have adequate oil pressure so Ive always put melling oil pumps on mine. Id just go with the TSP ls6 pump and never look back.

6 months from now the 70 dollar cheaper pump fails, how pissed will you be that it now costs you thousands.

very true....well I did some research and I found one from MTI...its not an LS6 but its a ported high flow melling 10296 casting which I believe is a LS1 pump....it should be adequate...

I run a melling 10296 on my cts-v, and I just put one on the ls1 that is going in my 93 mustang. Never had a problem and have great oil pressure.

Just giving an update in regards to my post above about it taking a bit of time to hear back from J&J. I received an e-mail a few days ago from the company to let me know that they'd seen this thread actually and apologized for it taking abnormally long to get the pump to me. Said they were filling 25+ orders over the past 2 weeks. They added dry lubrication film to the pump for me free of charge for my patience.

Just wanted to make sure my info was accurate. They get two thumbs up from me, the package was shipped that day and I have already received it. Looks to be a nice piece, appears to be well ported and it includes the rubber o-ring.
